These RFPs are designed to help builders identify areas where new products, protocols, integrations, research, or ecosystem tools could create meaningful value. They are not exhaustive or prescriptive. Builders are encouraged to use them as starting points, improve on them, or propose adjacent ideas with a strong rationale.

Purpose

The goal of this page is to surface project areas where new builders, existing teams, and ecosystem contributors can create meaningful value for Stacks.

Projects listed here should ideally support one or more of the following outcomes:

• More meaningful onchain activity
• Sustainable protocol fees or network revenue
• Strong Bitcoin-native financial products
• More usable dApps and developer experiences
• More liquidity, privacy, or infrastructure primitives
• Clearer paths for users and institutions to engage with Stacks

How to use this page

Builders can use these RFPs as inspiration for grant applications, prototypes, integrations, or ecosystem experiments.

If applying for funding based on one of these RFPs, reference the project title in your application and explain:

• What you plan to build
• Who it serves
• Why it matters
• What the first milestone would include
• What success would look like

An RFP does not guarantee funding. Strong proposals should be specific, technically credible, and grounded in measurable outcomes.
