We review applications to the Stacks Grants Program using a clear and consistent set of criteria. Each proposal is assessed on a 0–5 scale, where higher scores reflect stronger alignment with the goals of the Stacks ecosystem.

Scores help guide funding decisions, but they are not the only factor. We also consider ecosystem needs, available budget, and overall portfolio balance.

Our goal is to fund work that helps the Stacks ecosystem grow sustainably, responsibly, and over the long term.

• 5: Clearly advances Stacks’ mission, with a strong and specific rationale for why Stacks is the right platform
• 0: No meaningful connection to Stacks, or could be built anywhere without differentiation

🌱 Ecosystem Impact

What changes for the Stacks ecosystem if this project succeeds?

• 5: Strong potential to grow builders, users, usage, infrastructure, or economic activity
• 0: No clear or credible ecosystem benefit

💪 Feasibility and Execution

Is the plan realistic and achievable with the proposed resources?

• 5: Clear scope, realistic timeline, and a thoughtful execution plan
